The Reflex/Deflex or R/D design offers the same power (poundage) on the bow but by tweaking the limbs and creating the specific convex and con cave arcs you see here the bows speed is INCREASED and the hand shock is DECREASED. this makes for an overall sweet shooting bow at speed. if you are dead set on making sure your arrow hits the target fast, this is the style bow for you. this composition of woods in this bow also pushes the design further. if it wasn't enough that R/D's are fast, using an ipe core punches up the zip even more, wait , there's more. Finally Putting the tension strong bamboo on there completes this monster. you don't even know you have pulled it to your draw legth until you release! the draw is really sweet, and the snap speed arrows leave this bow are blinding. Many bow makers and bow hunters use these woods and this design, but I have my own version, right down to the slim yet full pistol grip handle that feels to good to put down.
